The Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB) has a new website including some great new resources for electricians. The new website has a fresh new look and improved content to make it easier to access information you need. It is also now mobile friendly so you can access it easily when out and about.
The Electrical Worker's Toolbox was developed by the Board as a practical way to assist you to know the requirements for compliant and safe electrical work.
Electrical workers in New Zealand are required to comply with the latest electrical Standards, Regulations, Codes and other rules when completing electrical work. The Electrical Workers Registration Board works to enhance electrical safety through improving competency of electrical workers.
The Toolbox initially covers a range of different topics, which are based upon feedback and common issues experienced by a range of electrical workers. The Toolbox will continue to evolve with further information being provided over time. The Board is planning to expand the collection of topics and issues covered by the Toolbox over time, based upon feedback from electrical workers.
